OMAHA (DTN) — December corn is down 1 1/4 cents and November soybeans are down 6 1/2 cents. December KC wheat is down 9 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 6 3/4 cents, and December MIAX Minneapolis wheat is up 2 cents. October crude oil is up $0.96 and Dow Jones futures are up 249 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.12 and December gold is up $29.40. After mounting an impressive comeback Wednesday morning from overnight lows, row crop futures have again turned mostly lower heading into the close — though still well above their lowest points for the session. Wheat futures have been especially volatile, at one point rising on reports that a meeting between President Erdogan of Turkey and Russia’s President Putin on Wednesday ended with no clear breakthrough for an agreement to halt the summer escalation of attacks on shipping lanes and infrastructure in the Black Sea. Technical-based selling may be setting in as all markets remain considerably overbought from a momentum standpoint.
