SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: No comparisons made due to limited 
comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 430.00, 
500-550 lbs 340.00-350.00, 550-600 lbs 335.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1 400-450 lbs 340.00-370.00, 500-550 lbs 301.00-325.00, 550-600 lbs 
291.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 400.00-430.00, 350-
400 lbs 400.00. Slaughter Cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 162.00-179.00, Boner 
80-85% lean 153.00-170.00, Lean 85-90% lean 142.00-159.00, Lean Low 
Dressing 123.00-141.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 189.00-211.00, 
Low Dressing 165.00-184.00.
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 64.87; 450-500 lbs 70.70; 500-550 lbs 70.74.
  SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 4 cents lower, New crop bids 3 to 
4 cents lower; current elevator bids 5.75, new crop elevator bids 5.10-
6.14, current processor bids 5.50-6.00, new crop processor bids 5.97-
6.27. Soybean bids were 2 cents higher; New crop soybean bids 2 cents 
higher; new crop export 12.93-12.98, elevators bid 12.37, new crop 
elevators 12.48-12.88. Wheat bids were mixed, 4 cents lower to 12 cents 
higher, New crop bids were 10 cents higher, current elevator bids 7.03, 
new crop elevator bid 7.53, current processor bid 5.85-8.93.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 3.29 
higher at 88.06.
