Corn Futures Lower at 6:00 a.m. CDT Friday

Corn: July corn futures plunged 7 1/4 cents to close at $4.11 3/4, pressured by the sharp fall in crude oil and favorable growing conditions.
Soybeans: July soybeans also fell by 8 cents to end the day at $11.15, pressured by the weak bean oil market and the absence of China demand again.
Wheat: July Kansas City wheat finished up 4 1/4 cents in slow trade following another lowering of winter wheat crop production.
Live Cattle: August live cattle futures rose $1.17, closing higher for the third straight day to settle at $242.67, just below the 50-day average.
Cotton: December cotton futures rose 1.06 cents on Thursday to finish at 76.36 cents, above the 100-day average.
