SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 420.00, 450-500 lbs 
385.00, 550-600 lbs 340.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 
lbs 380.00-385.00, 550-600 lbs 325.00-334.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1 300-350 lbs 455.00. Slaughter Cows: Breaker 75-80& lean 166.00, 
Boner 80-85% lean 152.00-155.00, Lean 85-90% lean 155.00. Slaughter 
Bulls: Average Dressing 201.00, Low Dressing 180.00.
      Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 62.62; 450-500 lbs 66.56; 500-550 lbs 70.80.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 13 to 14 cents higher, New crop 
bids 12 to 14 cents higher; current elevator bids 5.79, new crop elevator 
bids 5.14-6.17, current processor bids 5.54-6.04, new crop processor bids 
6.01-6.31. Soybean bids were 26 cents higher; New crop soybean bids 28 to 
29 cents higher; new crop export 12.91-12.96, elevators bid 12.34, new 
crop elevators 12.46-12.86. Wheat bids were 13 to 45 cents higher, New 
crop bids were 33 to 34 cents higher, current elevator bids 6.91, new 
crop elevator bid 7.43, current processor bid 5.89-8.81.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 69 
cents higher at 84.77.
