Heat Continues for Tuesday

A hot and humid airmass continues to sit underneath an upper-level ridge across the southern two thirds of the country on Monday afternoon. A system moving through the Canadian Prairies is producing scattered showers there, and the system’s cold front is stretching out from Nebraska to New York. This area will the spot to watch for scattered showers and thunderstorms both for the rest of Monday and all day Tuesday.
