COLORADO, Phillips County. A 1,138-acre farm sold at auction in seven tracts for $2.3 million, or an average of $2,064 per acre. The parcels are divided into parcels ranging from 160 acres to 167 acres, with a total wheat base of 375 acres and yields ranging from 47 to 51 bushels per acre. The farm also features 287 base corn acres with yields ranging from 121 to 132 bushels per acre.

ILLINOIS, Winnebago County. A 290-acre farm sold for $2.9 million, or $10,000 an acre. The property includes 279 cropland acres with 20 acres enrolled in the Conservation Reserve Program. The farm includes a productivity index of 122.9. Based on the tillable acres, the farm has an average corn yield index of 166 bushels per acre on flat ground. In all, the farm includes 140 corn base acres and 117 soybean base acres. The Price Loss Coverage yield on soybeans is 41 bushels per acre.

INDIANA, DeKalb County. A 90-acre farm sold in three tracts at auction for $840,000, or an average of $8,021 per acre. The property includes 70 acres of tillable farmland along a frontage road. The farm also includes 21 acres of wooded recreational land and a small pond with high wildlife traffic. Near the pond is a trailer house and a dock. The farm as a whole has a weighted average on corn of 143.4 bushels per acre, 47.6 bushels per acre on soybeans and 56.8 bushels per acre on winter wheat.

NEBRASKA, Otoe County. A 227-acre farm sold at auction for $1.8 million, or $7,750 per acre. The property includes 110 corn base acres with a yield of 95 bushels per acre, as well as 110 base soybean acres with a yield of 30 bushels per acre. The farm is terraced with some trees and a lake, and includes some acres in the Conservation Reserve Program along filter strips.
