Todd Neeley

Todd Neeley has been a reporter and editor for DTN since 2004, after he worked in weekly and daily newspapers in Nebraska for 10 years. Neeley served as president of the North American Agricultural Journalists in 2019 and 2020. He is a 2015 winner of the Glenn Cunningham Agricultural Journalist of the Year Award from NAAJ, and 2014 winner of the Jesse H. Neal journalism award, as well as a 2020 recipient of the J.S. Russell Memorial Award from NAAJ for outstanding service to the organization. As a newspaper reporter at the Hastings Tribune in central Nebraska, Neeley covered the Nebraska Legislature and city and county government, as well as Nebraska football. Neeley's 2003 in-depth series for the Tribune on accidental human deaths from a cattle drug was awarded first place for in-depth reporting among daily newspapers in Nebraska in the Nebraska Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. Neeley is a lifelong resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, and a 1994 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a bachelor's degree in news editorial.
