Corn Futures Higher at 6:00 a.m. CDT Friday

Corn: December corn futures rallied a nickel and closed right at the 100-day average and just below the downtrend line to settle at $4.21 3/4, supported by reports of southern rust impacting yields.

Soybeans: November soybeans finished 4 1/4 cents higher to close at $10.10 3/4.

Wheat: December KC wheat futures finished up 1/2 in slow trade to settle at $4.88 3/4.                                                                          

Cotton: December cotton fell 0.03 cent to end the day at 63.73, still down near the low.

Live Cattle: For the tenth consecutive day, December cattle finished higher, settling up $1.10 to close at $247.87, keeping the raging bull market alive.
