Corn Futures Steady at 6:00 a.m. CST Friday

Corn: December corn futures finished up 6 1/4 cents and blew right through major resistance to finish at $4.41 1/2 on fund buying and rumored big cuts in yield.

Soybeans: January soybeans rallied 13 1/4 cents to rise above the recent sideways range, finishing at $11.47 also fueled by fund buying.

Wheat: December Kansas City wheat rose 1/4 cent in slow, two-sided trade to finish at $5.25 3/4.

Cotton: December cotton fell to a new low and the third straight lower close to end the day at 62.90, down 0.40 cent.

Live Cattle: December live cattle futures also slid for the third straight day, closing down $6.27 to finish at $219, below all key moving averages.
