Dry Whey - East U.S.

Released on April 02, 2026

The East region's dry whey market is fairly balanced. Manufacturers have no
issues finding buyers for spot volumes of Extra Grade and Grade A dry whey.
There is plenty of product available after contractual obligations are met. The
price range for dry whey dropped slightly at the top of the range keeping close
ties to the NDPSR. Inventory levels of dry whey are balanced and there is no
concern of growing volumes in storage. Export demand for dry whey is steady,
with some contacts indicating demand is slightly elevated, as American whey
prices are favorable over European prices.

Prices for: East, All First Sales, F.O.B., Edible Dry Whey
Price Range - Non-Hygroscopic; Dollars per Pound: 0.58 - 0.7
