AMS_1089 MARS Butter - Central U.S. Released on August 19, 2026 In the Central region, cooler August weather is strengthening milk output, improving overall supply conditions. Cream availability is unchanged from last week and remains somewhat mixed. Class II processors continue to purchase the bulk of spot cream, constraining some spot loads of cream for making butter. Contacts say churns are running primarily on contracted cream, with limited reliance on spot loads. Demand is steady, supported by domestic interest and firm export activity. Contacts note inventories of 80 percent butterfat butter remain high, whereas 82 percent butterfat is tight. Grade AA butter continues to trade around flat to the CME, consistent with the market tone.
