Storm Slamming West, Heat Continues Eastward Wednesday

Very warm air continues across the vast majority of the U.S. Tuesday afternoon and will continue on Wednesday as well, though areas in the north still have some cooler air to deal with. A storm system will slam into the West Coast tonight and continue through Wednesday, bringing widespread precipitation and wind impacts. Some flooding will be possible. Additionally, some rain showers will move through the Midwest.
