Demand continues very good as numbers remain limited.
Markets continue on their historic run this week, though cattle futures 
hit a major snag in the road today and at the time of the report had feeder 
cattle down 5.00-6.00 and live cattle down over 3.50.
Thru Thursday, the August Feeder cattle contract had gained 47.00 since 
June 2nd and the August Live Cattle Contract rose by 22.00.
Boxed beef prices were on the normal seasonal summer lag but since last 
Friday prices had jumped 15.00.
Auction prices continue to set unbelievable records as buyers continue 
to compete for less.
 
Supply included:  100% Feeder Cattle (81.6% Steers, 18.4% Heifers).
Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 100%.
Unless otherwise noted, Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights 
after a 3% shrink or equivalent, with a 10 cent slide > 600 lbs.
