Trading was inactive in the two reporting regions.
Video sales along with local auctions kept buyers from searching the 
country for cattle to procure.
Also, there may not be a lot of yearlings left to procure due to early 
marketing from drought conditions in both states.
Feedlots fully lost there upward momentum with the CME live cattle board 
selling lower most of the week.
High heat index, little wind in Nebraska has some feedlots seeing those 
effects on their heavy weight cattle market weight cattle.
Holding firm this time of year could be costly to those yards, as egger 
sellers make for lower market sometimes.
However, the basis is great for those that hedge.
Live sales in Nebraska fell 7.00 to 8.00 lower at 248.00 and dressed 
sales down 10.00 at 393.00.
