Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold steady. Several smaller to
moderate sized consignments of fancy calves were on hand and demand was good
for a light supply. The unusual heat has likely slowed the calf run some, along
with the near perfect conditions for harvest and many farmers are done with
corn and onto beans. Slaughter cows sold 4.00-6.00 higher.
