Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves sold steady to 5.00 lower,
several loads of yearling heifers sold steady to firm and yearling steers were
just lightly tested. Demand was good as the quality was attractive for both the
yearlings and calves. Supply was moderate. Cattle futures have been very
volatile this week searching for a direction coming off all time record highs
and Wednesday was a down day. Slaughter cows sold 4.00-8.00 lower.
