Compared to last week: Not enough comparable sales on heifers for a market
trend but a higher undertone was noted, as buyer demand for yearling heifers
remains strong. Steers too lightly tested for a market trend. Trading
activity was moderate to active on good buyer demand. Quality was average to
good with about a quarter of the supply consisting of nice bred cows and pairs.
Seasonably hot temperatures have finally made there way to the trading region
as we're forecasted to reach triple digits for the first time this year.
