Completed day 3 of a 3-day sale for Western Video Market's Silver Legacy 
Sale in Reno, NV.
No recent price comparison for deliveries of feeder cattle and calves, 
however a sharply higher undertone was noted for all classes.
Demand good to very good.
Bulk of the feeder cattle were for late July through September delivery, 
with calf deliveries from September to January 2026.
Weaned cattle sold on good to very good demand for all delivery points.
Cattle prices continue to soar and ranchers feel fortunate to take home 
the largest checks they ever have.
Record fed cattle prices seen last week again are driving the higher 
feeder cattle and calf prices in all types of cattle transactions.
Supply included 61 percent from the West region; 38 percent North Central; 
1 percent from South Central.
Deliveries are current through January 2026.
Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the sale and is up to 
and including July 30th, 2025.
 
Supply included: 99% Feeder Cattle (66% Steers, 34% Heifers, 0% Beef/Dairy 
Steers).
1% Replacement Cattle (19% Bred Cows, 79% Bred Heifers, 3% Cow-Calf Pairs).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 74%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-4% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with a 10-28 cent slide > 600 lbs and 16-40 cent slide
