Dry Whey - West U.S.

Released on October 30, 2025

Prices for dry whey moved 1 cent higher at both ends of the range and mostly
price series in the West. Spot buyer activity is somewhat quiet with an
industry conference taking place during week 44. The general theme is tight
spot load inventories and demand that is far from robust. Some manufacturers
convey production is heavily committed to contractual sales throughout the
remainder of Q4. Sweet whey production schedules are steadily utilizing liquid
whey volumes that are not being put into whey protein concentrates and isolates
production.
