Dry Whey - West U.S.

Released on July 16, 2026

In the West, the bottom of the range is unchanged, while the top end moved
three cents lower. For the mostly price series, the bottom end moved one cent
higher, while the top end is unchanged. Demand is steady. No changes in dry
whey production are reported this week. Manufacturers and traders note whey
protein concentrate (WPC) 34% spot loads are extremely tight, along with strong
demand for WPCs. This is keeping sweet whey from being more of a priority for
some whey commodity manufacturers.
