Dry Whey - West U.S.

Released on April 02, 2026

Dry whey prices increased at both ends of the range and mostly price series in
the West. Domestic demand varies from moderate to somewhat stronger. Demand
from international buyers is steady. Dry whey availability is somewhat tight.
Stakeholders indicate spot loads of preferred brands are scarce. Dry whey
production schedules are stable, but not robust. Dry whey production generally
is accommodating contractual obligations. Prices and demand for whey protein
concentrates and isolates remain strong starting Q2, holding dry whey
production paces at bay.
