In the West, dry buttermilk prices are 1 cent higher for the bottom end and 1 
cent lower for the top end of the range. The mostly price series is 1 cent 
lower for both ends. Domestic and export demand is steady. Spot load 
availability is mixed. Manufacturers generally convey their inventories are 
tight or balanced. Traders note spot loads are available and in some cases are 
having more dry buttermilk loads offered to them. Butter manufacturers are 
actively churning this week and providing adequate amounts of liquid 
buttermilk. Dry buttermilk production schedules vary from somewhat lighter to 
steady.
