Dry buttermilk prices moved two cents lower for the top of the range and mostly 
price series in the West. The bottom ends of the range and mostly price series 
are unchanged this week. Demand from domestic and international buyers varies 
from steady to lighter. Load availability from manufacturers in the region is 
tight for spot buyers. Distributors and traders indicate there are loads for 
spot buyers to secure, but load availability is somewhat tight for parts of the 
region. Dry buttermilk production schedules are mixed. The busyness of butter 
production schedules varies throughout the region making less liquid/condensed 
buttermilk for drying in some cases.
