Dry Buttermilk - West U.S.

Released on April 30, 2026

In the West, dry buttermilk prices increased at both ends of the range and
mostly price series. Domestic demand is stronger. Demand from international
buyers is steady. Butter churning is providing ample amounts of liquid
buttermilk. Liquid buttermilk continues to compete with nonfat dry milk for
drier time at some production facilities. Dry buttermilk production paces
remain similar to last week. Spot loads are tighter, with some manufacturers
behind on production plans to cover all their contractual commitments.
