In the West, the bottom end of the range and both ends of the mostly price 
series increased 2 cents for dry buttermilk. The top end of the range increased 
8 cents, to $1.80. Dry buttermilk demand from both domestic and international 
buyers is stronger. Butter production is running seven days a week and is 
providing more than sufficient volumes of liquid buttermilk for drying. In some 
cases, more liquid buttermilk is available than open drier time. Spot loads are 
not abundant.
