Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Demand was good on
a light supply of slaughter animals and pairs and a moderate supply of bred
cows. The top slaughter bull sold for 200.00/cwt. and the top slaughter cow
sold for 174.00/cwt. There was a good selection of bred cows in the offering
with the top bred cows bringing 3350.00/head. Much cooler weather moved into
the Ozarks overnight with more seasonal temperatures expected for the
foreseeable future.
