Compared to last week, slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Demand was very
good on a light supply. The top slaughter bull sold for 221.00/cwt. and the top
slaughter cow sold for 176.00/cwt. Top bred cows sold for 4250.00/head and the
top pairs sold for 5050.00/pairs. Some much needed rain as well as warmer
temperatures have gotten the Ozarks in full bloom. Demand for bred cows and
stockers continues to grow as pastures get closer to full production.
