Butter/Butteroil - Europe

Released on May 21, 2026

Butter prices held steady at the bottom of the range while the top moved lower
this week as ample inventories and ongoing milk availability continued to
pressure values. Strong seasonal milk flows have kept cream readily available,
contributing to softer butter market conditions and cautious buyer interest.
Trading activity remained measured. Butteroil prices moved higher at both ends
of the range, supported by improved demand and firmer market interest. Market
tone remains mixed, with butter under continued pressure while butteroil trends
firmer.
