Compared to last Thursday, stocker steers and heifers sharply lower. Feeder
cattle steady in a light test. Feeder cattle futures are collapsing $5.47 to
$6.20 so far at midday. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was back up 62 cents at
$364.71 on September 30. Slaughter cows 1.0-4.00 lower and bulls steady. Trade
active with very good demand especially for beef type cows returning to feed.
