Demand moderate.
Plainer quality and factors outside of the cattle industry appeared to 
weigh on buyer confidence.
Dry conditions are limiting wheat pasture and early grass growth and 
temperatures are forecasted to reach well into the 90s in the Southern Plains 
this weekend.
Supply included 62 percent South Central; 4 percent North Central; 27 
percent South East; 6 percent from the West and 1 percent from the North East.
Deliveries are current through August 2026.
Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the video and is up 
to and including April 2, 2026.
 
Supply included: 99% Feeder Cattle (59% Steers, 34% Heifers, 4% Beef/Dairy 
Steers, 3% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
1% Replacement Cattle (19% Bred Cows, 35% Bred Heifers, 19% Cow-Calf 
Pairs, 27% Heifer Pairs).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 53%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 2-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with a 0-30 cent slide > 600 lbs and 12-50 cent slide
