Compared to the last sale in December: Bulk of the sales in the South 
Central region.
Feeder steers 10.00-25.00 higher.
Feeder heifers not well tested last sale, but a sharply higher undertone 
was noted.
Demand moderate to good.
Cattle futures started the week higher but turned lower by midweek.
Slaughter cattle trade has moved higher since the last sale in December, 
but only hearing crickets so far this week.
Steer and heifer calves sold 15.00-30.00 higher.
Demand extremely good for lighter weight cattle.
Some moisture returned to the mid-section of the country(however no drought 
buster) and will give wheat pasture a slight boost.
Seller interest moderately good, but some taking the wait and see attitude.
Supply included 54 percent South Central; 13 percent West; 28 percent 
North Central; 4 percent South East; and 1 percent North East.
Deliveries are current through July 2026.
Current delivery is 14 days from the last day of the video and is up 
to and including January 21, 2026.
 
Supply included: 99% Feeder Cattle (64% Steers, 33% Heifers, 1% Beef/Dairy 
Steers, 2% Beef/Dairy Heifers).
1% Replacement Cattle (68% Bred Cows, 32% Bred Heifers).
Feeder cattle over 600 lbs was 88%.
Feeder Cattle prices FOB based on net weights after a 0-3% pencil shrink 
or equivalent, with up to a 40 cent slide > 600 lbs and up to a 45 cent slide
