Compared to last week:  Steers 350-400lbs, sharply higher on a light test from 
last week's smaller showing; 400-450lbs, mostly steady; 450-500lbs, 9.00 
higher; 500-550, sharply lower; 550-600lbs, 11.00 higher; 600-700lbs, 4.00-5.00 
lower; 700-750lbs, 15.00 lower; 400-500lbs, 6.00-8.00 lower; 500-550lbs, 10.00 
higher; 550-600lbs, 5.00 higher.  Moderate to good demand for today's offering 
of spring calves, with most carrying spring and fall shots.  Several load lots 
and large packages of calves right of the cow, carrying light to medium flesh, 
sold on an active market.  While the roller coaster in pricing continues, there 
was some moderation in today's sale.  Heavier weight heifers were noticeably 
missing as many producers are keeping them on the ranch.  Next Wednesday will 
be the last Special Wednesday Calf Sale, followed by the regular Calf Sale on
