Compared to last week: Lambs 40-50lbs, 5.00 higher on a light test; 50-60lbs,
16.00 lower; 60-70lbs, 9.00 lower; 70-80lbs, mostly steady; 80-90lbs, 5.00
lower; 90-110, mostly steady. Good Slaughter Ewes sold steady to 2.00 higher;
Utility Slaughter Ewes, 5.00 higher; Buck 2.00 higher. Comparable replacement
ewes were mostly steady. Nice offering of lambs sold on good demand, with
buyers in the seats and on the internet. Lambs were showing some tag, and not
working well with the downpour of rain the area received today, making for very
muddy, sloppy pens. Seats also had quite a few producer-buyers looking to add
some new ewes to their flock, and were not disappointed with the few that sold
on very good demand.
