Compared to last week: Lambs 40-60lbs, sharply higher; 60-70lbs, 12.00 higher;
70-90lbs, 7.00 higher; 100-110lbs, 8.00 higher. Good Slaughter Ewes, 9.00
lower. Utility Ewes, mostly steady. Nice offering of lambs, sold on good
demand. Market activity was good, with internet buyers and regulars in the
stands. A small offering of open Replacement Ewes sold on a more moderate
demand, with no comparisons from last week. Temperatures are finally starting
to cool at nights, but today's hit the low 90's. The next sale, Sept 17., is
the Annual Replacement Ewe, Ewe Lamb, Feeder Ewe Lamb special, starting at
10:00 a.m.
