FEEDER CATTLE 2215 4268 3216
Compared to the most recent feeder sale last friday which was a value added
yearling special, steers of similar quality over 450lbs sold with a mostly
steady undertone, except 550lb to 650lb steers which sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher.
Heifers sold steady to 10.00 lower. Even with Friday's yearling special, many
high quality weaned calves and yearlings were in town, as well as many high
quality unweaned calves. Demand was very good on another heavier than expected
run for the first few sales of the new year.
