SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made on feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales. Feeder 
Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs none 
reported. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 400.00-485.00; 
500-600 lbs 390.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 
360.00-390.00, 500-600 lbs 325.00-350.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% 
lean 150.00-166.00; Boners 80-85% lean 150.00-169.00; High Dressing none 
reported; Lean 85-90% lean 127.00-149.00; Lean Low Dressing 62.00-130.00. 
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 176.00-177.00, Low Dressing 138.00-
156.00, High Dressing none reported. 
  Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 1015 lbs Young Aged Cow with 
Calf over 300 lbs 3200.00 per pair. 
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 55.20. Sows live price 300-
450 lbs 53.40; 450-500 lbs 59.55; 500-550 lbs 61.69.
  SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 4 cents higher; elevator bids 
4.04-5.19, processor bids 4.74-5.29. Soybean bids were 6 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.12-10.57, processor bids n/a, and export 10.82. Wheat 
bids were 1 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 4.68.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 8 
cents higher at 61.76.
