SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made on feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales. 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 382.50; 500-600 lbs 
345.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-
600 lbs 330.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 322.50-
330.00, 500-600 lbs 345.00-347.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% 
lean 144.00-150.00; Boners 80-85% lean 143.00-162.00; High Dressing 
175.00; Lean 85-90% lean 126.00-147.00; Lean Low Dressing 70.00-128.00. 
Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 186.00, Low Dressing 155.00-174.00, 
High Dressing none reported. 
  Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1325 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf 
under 300 lbs 3000.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 1160 lbs Young Aged 
Cow with Calf under 300 lbs 3000.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 990 lbs

  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 1.39 lower at 64.95. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 64.54; 450-500 lbs 72.56; 500-550 lbs 75.04.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 6 to 7 cents lower; elevator 
bids 4.404-5.04, processor bids 4.69-5.09. Soybean bids were 27 cents 
lower; elevator bids 9.67-11.02, processor bids n/a, and export 11.22. 
Wheat bids were 6 to20 cents lower; elevator bids 4.95.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.69
lower at 62.54.
