SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 445.00-450.00, 500-600 lbs 362.50. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 430.00-445.00, 500-600 lbs 337.50-347.50. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 342.50-380.00, 500-600 lbs 
340.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 155.00-166.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 142.00-165.00; Lean 85-90% lean 142.00-159.00; Lean low 
dressing 105.00-147.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 188.00-195.00; 
High Dressing 204.00; Low Dressing 158.00-184.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2 955-1005 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cow with calf under 300 lbs 2600.00-2900.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 
1170 lbs Young Aged Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 3225.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was 70.32. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 65.80; 450-500 lbs 74.29; 500-550 lbs 77.04.     
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids 3 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 
3.95-5.00, processor bids 4.60-5.00. Soybean bids were 1 cent lower; 
elevator bids 9.81-10.16, and export 10.56. Wheat bids were 4 to 5 cents 
lower; elevator bids 4.40.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.26  
higher at 62.67.
