SC Farm Report on Thursday   
  
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no 
comparisons made on feeder cattle due to limited comparable sales. 
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-600 lbs 
365.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs none reported; 500-
600 lbs none reported. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 
lbs none reported, 500-600 lbs 330.00-335.00 with value added. Slaughter 
cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 150.00-157.00; Boners 80-85% lean 150.00-
163.00; High Dressing none reported; Lean 85-90% lean 125.0-146.00; Lean 
Low Dressing 75.00-120.00. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 191.00, Low 
Dressing 152.00-176.00, High Dressing none reported. Cow/Calf Pairs: 
Medium and Large 2 820 lbs Aged Cow with Calf under 300 lbs 1550.00 per 
pair. Medium and Large 3 1055 lbs Young Aged Cow with Calf under 150 lbs 
1950.00 per pair.
  Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 2.45 higher at 76.27. Sows 
live price 300-450 lbs 69.37; 450-500 lbs 80.69; 500-550 lbs 80.87.
   SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 4 cents lower; elevator bids 
3.93-4.98, processor bids 4.93. New crop soybean bids were 7 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.72-9.92, processor bids n/a, and export 10.47. Wheat bids 
were 1 to 4 cents lower; elevator bids 4.46.
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.44
lower at 62.72.
