SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 400-450 lbs 400.00, 600-650 lbs 
320.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-450 lbs 345.00, 450-500 
lbs 330.00, 500-550 lbs 320.00-330.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 
400-450 lbs 380.00, 500-550 lbs 335.00, 600-650 lbs 300.00. Slaughter 
Cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 150.00-157.00, Boner 80-85% lean 144.00-150.00, 
Boner Low Dressing 135.00-141.00, Lean 85-90% lean 140.00-146.00, Lean 
Low Dressing 132.00-139.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 199.00-
201.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1345lbs Middle Aged Cows w/ 150-
300lbs Calf 2900.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 860lbs Middle Aged Cows 
w/ 300lbs Calf 2950.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 66.38. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 64.17; 450-500 lbs 68.95; 500-550 lbs 70.83.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 3 to 6 cents lower, new crop 
bids were 3 to 6 cents lower; new crop elevator bids 5.08-6.08, current 
corn elevator bid 5.73, current processor bids 5.58-6.03, new crop corn 
processor bids 5.93-6.23. Soybean bids were 7 cents lower; new crop bids 
7 cents lower; current elevator bids 12.75, new crop elevator bids 
12.90-13.30 and new crop export 13.35-13.40. Wheat bids were 3 to 19 
cents lower, New Crop Wheat bids were 17 to 18 cents lower; current 
elevator bids 6.71, New Crop elevator bids 7.26, and processors 5.83-
8.61.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.09 
higher at 80.73.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
