SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice.  Live FOB
steers 1,543 lbs at 248.01 and heifers 1,391 at 247.83. Dressed delivered 
steers 1,009 lbs at 391.49 and heifers 900 lbs 391.74. Weekly boxed beef 
cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 383.39, down 7.34, and 
Select 365.33, down 5.41.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs and feeder pigs are mostly steady. Trading moderate with 
moderate demand for moderate offerings. Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 
47.81; 40 lbs cash basis 78.97. Hogs on Thursday. Plant delivered 
weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-
300 lbs live price was not reported. Sows live price 300-449 lbs 48.43, 
450-499 lbs 55.57, and 500-549 lbs 55.54.
  SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were steady, New crop bids were 1 to 3 
cents higher; current elevator bids 5.18, new crop elevator bids 4.51-
5.63, current processor bids 5.28-5.63, new crop processor bids 4.81-
5.59. Soybean bids were 5 to 6 cents higher, New crop bids were 4 cents 
higher; current elevator bids 11.82, new crop elevator bids 11.60, 
processor bids n/a, and new crop export 12.20-12.24. Wheat bids were 
steady to 5 cents lower; current elevator bids 5.87-6.77, current 
processor bids 4.78-7.77.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 9 cents 
lower at 76.58.
