SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 470.00-490.00, 500-600 lbs 400.00-460.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 470.00-510.00, 500-600 lbs 390.00-460.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 395.00-470.00, 500-600 lbs 
365.00-410.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 179.00-214.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 166.00-208.00; Lean 85-90% lean 149.00-175.00; Lean low 
dressing 107.50-158.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 195.00-226.00; 
High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 185.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1015 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf 
under 150 lbs 3500.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 1090 lbs Middle Aged 
Cow with Calf 150-300 lbs 3675.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 1510 lbs 
Middle Aged Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 4000.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
was 71.16. Carcass basis prices were not reported. Sows live price 300-
450 lbs 50.40; 450-500 lbs 55.93; 500-550 lbs 57.30.
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 2 cents higher, new crop bids 
were 5 to 7 cents higher; new crop elevator bids 4.54-5.64, current corn 
elevator bid 5.22, current processor bids 5.27-5.67, new crop corn 
processor bids 4.84-5.59. Soybean bids were 14 to 15 cents higher; new 
crop bids 5 to 6 cents higher; current elevator bids 11.77, new crop 
elevator bids 11.63 and new crop export 12.23-12.26. Wheat bids were 2 to 
3 cents higher; elevator bids 5.69-6.59, and processors 4.83.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.99 
higher at 76.46.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
