SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 495.00, 350-400 lbs 
420.00-435.00, 400-450 lbs 410.00-435.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1 300-350 lbs 410.00-470.00, 350-400 lbs 390.00-410.00, 400-450 lbs 
390.00, 450-500 lbs 380.00, 500-550 lbs 370.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1 300-350 lbs 510.00-550.00, 350-400 lbs 430.00-470.00, 450-500 lbs 
440.00-447.50, 500-550 lbs 435.00. Slaughter cows: Breaker 75-80% lean 
171.00-186.00, Boner 80-85% lean 168.00-193.00, Lean 85-90% lean 150.00. 
   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 70.21. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 61.66; 450-500 lbs 70.61; 500-550 lbs 71.14.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 5 cents lower, New crop bids 
were 4 to 5 cents lower; current elevator bids 5.33, new crop elevator 
bids 4.70-5.78, current processor bids 5.38-5.53, new crop processor bids 
5.00-5.72. Soybean bids were steady to 1 cent lower, New crop bids were 
steady to 1 cent higher; current elevator bids 11.65, new crop elevator 
bids 11.47, processor bids n/a, and new crop export 12.07-12.09. Wheat 
bids were 5 to 13 cents lower; current elevator bids 5.83, current 
processor bids 4.93-7.73.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.21 
lower at 73.66.
