SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 460.00-510.00, 500-600 lbs 420.00-470.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 460.00-505.00, 500-600 lbs 420.00-455.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 410.00-470.00, 500-600 lbs 
370.00-420.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 172.00-189.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 172.00-194.00; Lean 85-90% lean 153.00-178.00; Lean low 
dressing 122.00-160.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 186.00-217.00; 
High Dressing 212.00-227.00; Low Dressing 165.00-193.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 9110-1005 lb Young Aged cows with 
Calves 150-300lbs 4000.00-4250.00. Medium and Large 2 920-1115 lbs Young 
to Middle Aged Cows with Calves 150-300 lbs 3400.00-3700.00 per pair. 
Medium and Large 2 860-1020lbs Middle Aged Cows with Calves over 300 lbs 
3350.00-3500.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
was 70.90. Carcass basis prices were 94.88. Sows live price 300-450 lbs 
63.08; 450-500 lbs 68.51; 500-550 lbs 71.09.
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 2 cents lower, new crop bids were 
steady to 1 cent lower; new crop elevator bids 4.91-5.98, current 
processor bids 5.60-5.75. Soybean bids were 3 cents lower; new crop bids 
1 to 2 cents higher; current elevator bids 11.89, and new crop export 
12.28-12.29. Wheat bids were mixed; 2 cents lower 3 cents higher; 
elevator bids 6.27, and processors 5.15.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.37 
lower at 79.83.
