SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 465.00-520.00, 500-600 lbs 420.00-470.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 485.00-510.00, 500-600 lbs 420.00-475.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 410.00-490.00, 500-600 lbs 
380.00-440.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 169.00-187.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 157.00-191.00; Lean 85-90% lean 150.00-167.00; Lean low 
dressing 130.00-137.50. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 193.00-217.00; 
High Dressing 217.00; Low Dressing none reported.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1050-1265 lbs Middle Aged Cows with 
Calves 150-300 lbs 3525.00-3625.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 925-
980lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with Calves under 300 lbs 3475.00-
3350.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
was 1.04 lower at 68.56. Carcass basis prices not reported. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 55.99; 450-500 lbs 64.21; 500-550 lbs 66.21.
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 9 to11 cents higher, new crop bids 
8 cents higher; new crop elevator bids 4.96-5.92, current processor bids 
5.65-5.80. Soybean bids were 19 cents higher; new crop bids 15 cents 
higher; current elevator bids 11.78, and new crop export 12.30-12.31. 
Wheat bids were 6 to 9 cents higher, new crop bids 6 cents higher; 
elevator bids 6.25, and processors 5.20.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.45 
lower at 83.82.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
