SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 480.00-530.00, 500-600 lbs 430.00-495.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 440.00-470.00, 500-600 lbs 390.00-420.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 442.50-520.00, 500-600 lbs 
420.00-460.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 167.00-188.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 162.00-186.00; Lean 85-90% lean 150.00-171.00; Lean low 
dressing 122.50-157.50. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 194.00-222.50; 
High Dressing 205.00-231.00; Low Dressing 168.00-190.00.  
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1 1125-1210 lbs Young to Middle Aged 
Cows with Calves 150-300 lbs 3700.00-5600.00 per pair. Medium and Large 1 
915-1180 lbs Middle Aged Cow with Calf over 300 lbs 3875.00-5150.00 per 
pair. Medium and Large 2 615-1300 lbs Young to Middle Aged Cows with 
Calves under 300 lbs 2600.00-4550.00 per pair. Medium and Large 2 890-
1105 lbs Middle Aged Cows with Calves over 300 lbs 3325.00-3750.00 per 
pair.
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
was 31 cents lower at 70.47. Carcass basis prices 1.90 higher at 94.44. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 51.76; 450-500 lbs 58.50; 500-550 lbs 62.30.
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 5 to 8 cents higher, new crop bids 
6 cents higher; new crop elevator bids 5.00-5.94, current processor bids 
5.59-5.86. Soybean bids were 20 cents higher; new crop bids 13 to 14 
cents higher; current elevator bids 11.72, and new crop export 12.22-
12.23. Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cents higher, new crop bids 3 cents higher; 
elevator bids 5.89, and processors 5.26.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.88 
higher at 82.55.
