SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice.  Live FOB
steers 1,580 lbs at 246.18, heifers 1,401 lbs at 246.07. Dressed 
delivered steers 1,021 lbs at 386.00, heifers 901 lbs at 385.94.
Weekly boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 
384.89, up 2.94, and Select 384.56, up 5.14.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm. Compared to last week, early 
weaned pigs are 2.00 lower and feeder pigs are 3.00 lower. Trading 
moderate to active, with light to moderate demand and moderate offerings. 
Feeder pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 76.23; 40 lbs cash basis 117.02. Hogs on 
Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts 
US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs live price was not reported. Sows live price 
300-449 lbs 48.14, 450-499 lbs 57.83, and 500-549 lbs 59.46.
  SC Grain on Monday: Corn bids were 6 cents higher, New crop bids were 5 
to 6 cents higher; elevator bids 5.26, processor bids 5.41-5.71. Soybean 
bids were 13 to 14 cents higher, New crop 9 to 10 cents higher; elevator 
bids 11.42, processor bids n/a, and export 11.92. Wheat bids were 6 to 13 
cents higher; elevator bids 5.82, processor bids 5.11-7.72.
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 22 cents 
higher at 77.36
