SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday: Feeder Steers Medium and Large 1 400-
500 lbs 480.00-540.00, 500-600 lbs 430.00-477.50. Feeder Bulls: Medium 
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 460.00-530.00, 500-600 lbs 425.00-465.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 435.00-480.00, 500-600 lbs 
365.00-425.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 168.00-187.00; Boners 
80%-85% lean 166.00-205.00; Lean 85-90% lean 150.00-173.00; Lean low 
dressing 115.00-173.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 193.00-230.00;

   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs weighted average live price 
was 10 cents higher at 69.58. Carcass basis prices 1.85 higher at 92.13. 
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 52.95; 450-500 lbs 54.69; 500-550 lbs 61.33.
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn bids were 1 to 2 cents higher, new crop bids 
2 cents higher; elevator bids 5.19, processor bids 5.34-5.64. Soybean 
bids were 8 to 9 cents higher; elevator bids 11.39, and export 11.89. 
Wheat bids were 2 to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 5.65, and processors 
5.04.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 82 cents 
higher at 78.86.
