SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   SC Livestock Auctions: No comparisons made due to limited comparable 
sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 350-400 lbs 505.00-560.00, 400-
450 lbs 515.00-525.00, 450-500 lbs 490.00-500.00, 500-550 lbs 420.00-
452.50. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 470.00-520.00, 
350-400 lbs 450.00-490.00, 400-450 lbs 445.00-470.00, 450-500 lbs 455.00-
467.50, 500-550 lbs 410.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 
545.00, 350-400 lbs 505.00-540.00, 400-450 lbs 505.00-535.00, 450-500 lbs 
480.00, 500-550 lbs 410.00-430.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean

   Hogs on Tuesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-320 lbs was 70.39. Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 63.67; 450-500 lbs 74.34; 500-550 lbs 75.02.
   SC Grain on Wednesday: Corn bids were 3 to 4 cents lower, new crop 
bids were 3 cents lower; elevator bids 5.19, processor bids 5.34-5.54. 
Soybean bids were mixed, 3 cents lower to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
11.33, and export 11.83. Wheat bids were 4 to 19 cents lower; elevator 
bids 5.58, and processors 5.04-7.48.
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 76 
cents higher at 70.01.
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State
