SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: No comparisons due to limited
comparable sales based on barns having to be closed for inclement
weather. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 540.00,
350-400 lbs 560.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 590.00,
350-400 lbs 545.00, 400-450 lbs 460.00-490.00, 600-650 lbs 330.00. Feeder
Heifers: Medium and Large 1 300-350 lbs 420.00.00. Slaughter Cows: Boners
80-85% lean 146.00-178.00; High Dressing 180.00-184.00; Lean 85-90% lean
127.00-162.00. Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing 1095-2345 lbs 187.50-

Goats: 56 reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter and replacement
classes sold on a per head basis and weights are estimated. Kids: Sel 1

SC Grain on Thursday. Corn bids were 5 cent lower and New Crop bids
were 3 to 4 cent lower; elevator bids 3.95-5.05, processor bids 4.80-
5.20. Soybean bids were 3 cents higher, elevator bids 10.75-11.35,
processor bid n/a, and export 11.55. Wheat bids were 5 to 6 cent lower;
elevator bids 4.89, processor bids 4.80-6.79.
Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 70 cent
lower at 59.81.
